Diplomatic Appointment – Ambassador to Indonesia

Statement from the Minister

Indonesia has advised of the Indonesian Government's agrément for Mr Greg Moriarty as Australia's Ambassador to Indonesia.

On 11 July I announced Australian's nomination of Mr Moriarty as Australia's Ambassador.

Mr Moriarty, a senior officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, will take up his position in Jakarta in October.
