Australia-Indonesia Partnership for Reconstruction and Development – Supplementary Administration Costs

The Government will provide $41.0 million over four years to provide administrative support for the Australia-Indonesia Partnership for Reconstruction and Development (AIPRD).

Funding to administer AIPRD is being provided separately to ensure funds are not diverted from the $1 billion provided by the Australian Government for Indonesia’s reconstruction and development, following the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami.

This will ensure effective and efficient administration of well‑designed, high quality development activities. All activities meet objectives agreed by the AIPRD Joint Commission, which includes the Prime Minister of Australia and the President of Indonesia.
