TACHIN Project
The Thai-Australian Collaboration in HIV Nutrition (TACHIN) project is a partnership between The Thai Red Cross AIDS Research Centre (TRCARC), the Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University (INMU) and the Nutrition Development Division, and the Albion Street Centre (ASC) Australia. The aim of the project is to enhance the care of people living with HIV/AIDS through improved nutrition. Funding for the project is made available through the Australian HIV/AIDS Partnerships Initiative (AHAPI) sponsored by the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID).

Mission of Sister Joan Evans
Sister Joan is a religious Sister from the Western Australian Congregation of Presentation Sisters. After her arrival in Thailand in February 1991, Sister Joan spent 8 months in language training and, since the beginning of 1992, has worked in the of Klong Toei area of Bangkok. Through the establishment of specific projects, Sister Joan is a constant support for many families in this area.
